Description
Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1 contains six full titles earlier available by download through Xbox Live Arcade:
- Bejeweled 2
- Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
- Hardwood Backgammon
- Outpost Kaloki X
- Texas Hold ’em
- Wik and the Fable of Souls
It also contains the following demos:
- Feeding Frenzy
- Marble Blast Ultra
- Uno
The compilation was significant because it marked Microsoft’s effort to promote Xbox Live Arcade as a core part of the Xbox 360 ecosystem. By bundling popular and a varied genres of titles, the disc showcased the breadth of experiences available through the new digital store front. It also served as a bridge for players who did not yet have reliable broadband, giving them access to downloadable content in physical form.
