Games that support the use of a save memory peripheral. This may include memory cards that attach to a console or a controller. Memory cards were mostly introduced at the switch to optical storage mediums e.g. CD-ROMS, as they were inherently read-only memory. Software exclusively utilising memory within the game media or storage embedded within the console are excluded.
